Allied Plastic Heated Pet Mat
Thursday March 31st, 2011
Our take: This waterproof mat is meant for either indoor or outdoor use. It's plastic and you just cover it with whatever you want, like towels or a fleece throw, although they sell fleece covers. It heated quickly and ranges from 98 to 100 degrees so the dog can't overheat. It has a rounded power cord with a chew protector. It's good if you think it will get wet from either water or urine, or to use in an outdoor doghouse. You can't use an extension cord with it. Try not to stub your toe on that wire chew protector.
The dogs weigh in: With just a layer of fleece to cover the hard plastic mat, Ginger thought it was not the most comfortable of beds.
