Biodegradable Pik-Up Bags (1 biscuit)
Our take: This product illustrates why you need to read the fine print. The packaging says the bags are biodegradable, but there's no explanation of how or why, and the word 'biodegradable' has an asterisk that leads to a statement in teeny tiny print: "Except as defined by the States of California and New York." That means it doesn't meet the highest standard for biodegradable products, which all the other green poop bags I reviewed do meet.
Sure, they're dirt cheap, and they may indeed be better than plain old plastic bags. But I'd rather spend a little extra money and get a 100 percent biodegradable, compostable poop bag.
Cost: low
