Chill-a-Bowl
Friday June 20th, 2008
Our take: Water is encased inside the layers of this plastic bowl. Put it in the freezer upside down for a few hours and voila--it will hold three cups of cool water. How long it stays cool depends on how high the temps are, however.
Great for camping or just hanging out in the sun, it's also good in the car (particularly if you stash it in a cooler between uses). It probably won't fit in a hotel's mini-bar freezer, however, and you might want to put it on a mat or towel because of water condensation.
The dogs weigh in: Yum, cool water, seemed to be the review. My water-hog mutt, Fred, lapped it up and even Ginger took some long drinks.
Cost: low
