Definition of Diabetes
Canine Diabetes is similar to that of human diabetes and it generally occurs between the ages of 4 to 14 years. Dogs with Diabetes can live full lives but they will need to have a change in diet, exercise and may require insulin injections. Some symptoms of Diabetes are weight loss, vision problems, and an increase in thirst, urination and appetite. If your dog is diagnosed with Diabetes, it is important to follow the advice of your veterinarian.
