Detached Retina
A Detached Retina occurs when the retina becomes detached from its underlying supportive tissues. It can be caused by environmental factors such as an injury to the face. Detached Retinas can lead to visual impairment that may result in blindness. There is no treatment for a Detached Retina but many dogs live full lives while living with visual impairments.
