Inguinal hernia
Inguinal Hernia, like Umbilical Hernia, is a condition that is also present at birth but it can also develop in unsprayed females near middle age. It is caused by a protrusion in the abdominal wall in the groin area that is filled with abdominal fat, tissue or organs. It can be on both sides of the groin or on one. It is more common in females but it does occur in both sexes. It should disappear with growth but the size of the hernia should be monitored and treated if necessary.
