Tricuspid Valve Dysplasia

Tricuspid Valve Dysplasia Is a congenital defect of the heart. It is linked to a gene and the effects of this gene are formed in-utero. The puppy will be born with a heart valve that does not close tightly, causing a leak back into the right atrium. A puppy can live a full and healthy life with this defect but that is dependant upon the size of the leak.
