Working Group

A group of dogs that were bred to provide a working function either as a breed used for cart pulling, sled pulling, guarding duties or rescue duties. These dogs are generally larger breeds that display strength and intelligence. Registries such as AKC and CKC, group breeds under various classes that reflect their original purpose.
