My s/o is an otr driver and was at his stop when Duke showed up looking for food. He brought Duke back to Missouri where he now lives with my s/o, boys and I. We love him dearly, and he is a perfect fit to our family. We have now gone through starting out at 82 lbs., heartworm, arsenic shots, puppy shots, and lots and lots of love. Now doggy daycare to help with separation anxiety as well as obedience school. Three months later we are 98 lbs., happy, healthy with a shiny black coat --  quite the ladies' man and a mama's boy. So the question is was it love at first sight? YES! He found us. I'm very glad.
