Our take: These chew ropes are made from 100 percent hemp, which is grown without pesticides or herbicides. They're hypoallergenic and biodegradable to boot. The Earthdogs folks say that compared to cotton, hemp lasts longer, is stronger, and is more absorbent. Another bonus: 10 percent of profits go to fund spay/neuter programs.

The chew ropes come in two sizes: a 12-incher with two knots for medium sized dogs, and a 15-incher with three knots for a big dog's chewing pleasure.
