Eco-friendly pet stain removers
"Accidents" in the house are a fact of life when living with dogs. And if they're not cleaned up well, you'll be looking at the stains--and catching whiffs of the smell--for a long time to come. All pet owners need a stain remover that works, but the eco-conscious crowd also wants one that's free of harsh solvents, fragrances, and other chemicals that aren't great for the planet (and often, not good for us or our dogs). We've reviewed a few top contenders.
Keep in mind that no stain/odor remover will work 100 percent of the time. Factors like the type of fabric, the humidity, the speed with which you clean it up, and the color of the, um, bodily fluid can all affect whether you get off spot-free--or not.
