Additional informationThe Historic Northwestern Equestrian Facility is located at the end of Forbidden Drive in beautiful Fairmount Park near the Chestnut Hill area. The facility is operated by Northwestern Stables, Inc, a non profit organizationAt the stables, we offer affordable English riding lessons year round to Adults and Children over 8. Also for children 8 - 12, we offer a fantastic Summer Day Camp program. NWS, Inc. offers private boarding featuring; full care board, use of our indoor and outdoor rings, discounts on lessons as well as close proximity to miles of the most gorgeous trails along the Wissahickon Creek. In addition to our boarding, lesson and camp programs, we partner with the Philadelphia Department of Recreation and the Philadelphia Police Athletic League to provide hands on horse experiences for Philadelphia's youth.
