Hello fellow pet lovers! Thank you for your interest in Animal Hospital Jones Road, situated in northwest Houston. We serve dog and cat patients and their owners from all over Houston, Spring, Tomball and The Woodlands, and welcome everyone to our practice. It’s an honor to care for pets, and we dedicate every day of the week to providing our best veterinary medicine. We are an American Animal Hospital Association accredited practice, meaning our staff and facility conforms to the highest standards of veterinary medical care. Animal Hospital Jones Road (established in 1986), under private ownership, is a comprehensive veterinary hospital with all the equipment, diagnostic tools, and trained staff necessary to provide quality medical care for the entire lives of our dog and cat patients. At all times our patients receive positive, nurturing care. In fact, we like to say, "only you know your pet better."
Animal Hospital Jones Road provides veterinary medical care for the entire lives of dogs and cats. The focus of our practice is to provide high quality veterinary medicine and give pets the best options for care.
We advocate preventive care such as annual, (or more frequent, if age and physical health necessitate) exams; vaccinations; dental cleanings; geriatric work-ups; and flea, parasite and heartworm prevention for life. Our competent staff are compassionate and treat all pets with the respect and nurturing they deserve.
We treat many critically ill and traumatically injured patients and have the medical technology and skilled veterinarians and support staff to respond immediately with our very best veterinary medicine.
In-house medical capabilities include: full diagnostic laboratory; color Doppler ultrasonography; high frequency veterinary radiology equipment; well equipped, sterile surgery suites; dental services incuding x-rays, ultrasonic scaling, polishing; Isoflurane and Sevoflurane gas anesthesia machines; critical care monitoring devices, such as pulse oximeters and ECG machines; oxygen cages; isolation wards; digital high power microscopes; full surgery suites
The veterinarians at Animal Hospital Jones Road are general practitioners with many years experience, extensive education, and training in all aspects of veterinary medicine. Our goal is to meet the needs of our patients on site, however, when necessary, we may refer them to a veterinary specialist.
Clients rely on our veterinary staff for all aspects of their pets care, including puppy and kitten evaluations and vaccinations; regular adult vaccinations; dental cleaning and periodontal care; geriatric medicine, including cardiac care; routine surgeries, such as spays and neuters; non-routine surgeries, such as orthopedic and soft tissue surgery; critical and trauma care relating to illness; cancer treatment;
dermatology; allergy medicine; and behavioral medicine. Additionally, our clients benefit from pet grooming and boarding services offered by the staff.
