My miniature Pinscher male lived to be 20 and my female lived to be 17. And a few of there pups have lived to be in their late teens as well. Many mini Pins live 14-20 years. Also Chihuahua's can live 15-20 years as well. Good list besides missing some key breeds!

If there wasn't a market, byb's wouldn't breed them. Don't buy undersized dogs. Breeders, spay & neuter before sale..Better yet, buyers check out the breed rescues & the SPCA. There are plenty of small dogs that need homes without breeding more..Have a heart

What about the Chihuahua?! They live 15-20 years!!! Also, my Shih Tzu will only live 4-5 years (vet estimate) due to her long list of genetic complications from her "breeder" who did not test for these before breeding. Dogs from "BYB's" and "teacup" dogs don't live long at all due to breeders who breed for "fun" or because they are "cute" and not for the right reasons.
