San Francisco's Most Prominent Pet Enthusiasts Gather for the Second Annual Concert at the Herbst Theatre on Sunday
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, October 16, 2008--San Francisco-based DogTime.com (http://dogtime.com), the largest vertical media network in the pet market, today announced their partnership with Pets Unlimited (http://www.petsunlimited.org), the premier provider of comprehensive and humane animal treatment in the Bay Area, for their Animals and the Arts (http://www.petsunlimited.org/who/AandA.htm) fundraiser this Sunday at the Herbst Theatre, in San Francisco.

The second annual Animals and the Arts concert will feature Emmy® Award-winning conductor George Daugherty, who founded the event in honor of his beloved dog Toby. Joining him will be international opera sensation Jennifer Holloway in her San Francisco debut; husband and wife opera stars Kristin Clayton and Bojan Knezevic; mezzo-soprano Tamora Pellikka; pianists Keisuke Nakagoshi and Marc Shapiro, clarinet virtuosa Ginger Kroft Barnetson, and cellist Barbara Bogatin, plus a 30-member chamber orchestra comprised of musicians from The San Francisco Symphony, The San Francisco Opera Orchestra, The San Francisco Ballet Orchestra, The Los Angeles Philharmonic, The Royal Philharmonic, and The London Symphony Orchestra. They are all donating their time and talents to help cats and dogs in need.

100% of all proceeds from the Animals and the Arts concert benefit the Pets Unlimited no-kill animal shelter and charity care programs.
