Companion Road Rubber Duckie Raincoat for Dogs

Our take: Companion Road is PetSmart's house brand. Their yellow hooded slicker features a cut-away at the bottom so the coat won't restrict movement. There's only one leg opening for the right front leg, which is unusual, but it works well. It closes with the traditional neck and belly velcro straps.

The outer fabric isn't breathable at all, so I would reserve this slicker for cool temperatures rather than steamy summer rainstorms.

The dogs weigh in: My aging Poodle Clint has real issues with leg openings, but this one didn't bother him. Blind as a bat, he didn't notice the limited vision field from the hood. A sighted dog might not be so accepting, but you can pull the hood back for more visibility.
