Troubled Dane
I am distraught. We've had Gracie Mae since she was 8 weeks old. She is 8 years old. She has never been fixed, but never had a litter, either. She has never been agressive with any children, grownups, cats, or other dogs, until today. I need help looking for a Great Dane puppy!

Looking to adopt a Great Dane
I am starting my search for a Great Dane. I live alone, work at home in my office all day and I am very experienced with dogs. My 14 year old Lab just passed away and I miss having a beast in the house. Does anyone know where I can find a nice (not puppy) Great Dane? Willing to travel or pay travel expenses to own.

Question about Great Danes
We live in Dubai, and we own a great dane that we imported with us from Hungary.
As the summer is coming closer, and the heat here will be unbearable for humans (you could imagine the situation for a great dane!!)
My question is?
How can we train him and exercise him?
We have a small garden and a huge space outside for long walks, but in the summer both places can only be used twice a day (early morning and late night)!
Hope I can get some guidance.

i have a question i just bought a condo i have a very sweet dog already he is a pit bull but i want him to have a companion when i leave to work i work six hours a day and when i come home i will be walking them for about one hour my question is do you guys think that a great dane is to active to live in a small condo?

my boss's opinions on great danes
at one point my boss thought i, being a 5'3", 120 pound 17 year old, couldn't handle a great dane. it turns out that my boss doesn't think it's because of my small size: she thinks i can handle a great dane once i have enough experience.
i just thought i might share that since at one point i thought i was too small to handle a great dane.
