skunk sprayed Lab,
I would like to know what is the best thing to wash my dog with after being sprayed by skunk? I have tryed tomatoe juice, doen't seem to work all that well. any suggestions?

Smelly dog problem- any ideas?
My dog smells so bad. People have told me that if I wash him too often his natural oils will be stripped - making it impossible for his fur to self-clean. However, he smells so bad. Just one week after washing the smell is intolerable. He's a big dog and washing him is a major project - getting him in the tub, keeping him there, washing, drying etc, Any tips?

Best shampoo and conditioner?
I take my black, almost-6-month-old Standard Poodle pup to the groomers once a month, but I want to be prepared to give her a quick bath at home once in a while too. I have used AvoDerm Natural Oatmeal Shampoo and Conditioning Rinse before and it seemed pretty good, but I have no idea is this a truly good brand or is there something better...
Any opinions about the best shampoos and conditioners for long-haired dogs?

Our dog will not let us brush his legs or belly
We have a large German Shepherd weighing over 100 lbs. and when it comes to grooming he is not going for it. He is approx. 7 yrs old, we are not sure because we rescued him from the dog pound. He has taken to us very well, except when we try to brush him. He has gotten better at letting us brush his back but his belly and legs are off limits. When we try he will snap at us. Pedi-Paws: Yes or No?
I know this question has been asked before but noone really answered it. I've wanted to buy the product called Pedi-Paws to trim my dogs nails but does it really work or would I just be wasting my money? Has anyone out there tried it?

How often should i groom?
I have a short haired dog. She is a mut we are thinking part german sheppard and part??? anyway she has very short hair. How often should i bathe her? I used to take my longer hair dog once a month to the groomer and then did a bath at home at the 2 week mark in between. Is that too much for a short hair dog? She starts getting smelly, I tried using the wipes but dont think those work all to well.

Itching a lot????
My puppy is constantly scratching herself. We are in the middle of playing she starts to itching, we are training she itches, she wakes up and starts to scratch. She doesnt have fleas. I have bathed her with a gentle puppy shampoo for sensitive skin with no dyes, fragarance, ect. Is this normal behavior? or what else could be causing her to itch so much

Dog Grooming Tips Needed…
Hi,
In order to save a few $$$ I decided to try my hand at grooming my own dog. Can anyone share a few tips that might help when it comes to doing general grooming? You know, haircuts, giving baths, etc. etc.
