OMG Is this Rusty?
I recently adopted a 4 and half year old miniature pincher. She is my first of the breed. I currently have a pitbull mix with her. I have had alot of trouble with training and agression with her. For some reasson she very nice to people when they are facing her but as soon as they walk away she bits them in the back of their legs. I do not know what to do about it. Min. Pinschers
Are MIn PIns a barkless breed? I've come across a beautiful little MinPIn and she howls/cries but no barking. Maybe she had her vocals cut? And 2nd question: Are they "under covers" sleepers? LOL Maybe that's just a preference for this particular dog, so just curious. Thank you for your time...*S* Janene

HELP WITH DIAGNOSIS
We have a 9 yr old min pin (Dee Dee). I noticed that her hind quarters were coming to a rocket point and getting very hard. She seemed to be in pain when it was touched - when it got to the point that she did not want to move or eat, I took her to the vet. Her temp was 104 with her hind quarters in a hugh ball. severe anxiety
I got my Min Pin as a rescue about a month ago. He is 4 years old and very loving and energetic. However, I don't think he has ever seen the inside of a crate! In the car, I insist on a crate, but he screams and cries the length of the ride! Should I consider anti-anxiety meds as a supplement to my training of him?

weight issue
Hi! I seem to be fighting a losing battle: Min Pin is slightly overweight. (vet-checked, no signs of diabetes). She gets steamed vegs. for dinner, with a very sm. amout of dry. Two "power walks @ day, 7 days@ week. NO table foods. The weight is still NOT coming off! Any suggestions are GREATLY appreciated! :}

Can a Mini Pinscher puppy live with two cats?
I have two cats male and female spayed and neutered and want to rescue a mini pinscher. My cats are 3 yrs old and indoor cats and my male especially is very spoiled. I know some people that want to get rid of a mini pinscher, but I heard that people in Miami are using little dogs to help train fight dogs (like prey). The mini is 2 months old but I can't bare to think he can be thrown in with vicious dogs. Does anyone have both cats and mini?

Potty Training & Working 2, HELP!
We just got our 2nd Min-Pin(Jazy Baby) & she is 8wks old now. With only 2wks of paper/potty training,which was going beautifully; I had to go back to work! Now, I'm gone M-W 8-5pm & w/no guidance during those daytime hours, she has almost completely stopped using the paper. Any Sugesstions re: this for a partime working mom, w/new baby @ home?

Barking

Miniature Doberman Pinscher
We need help we have a 2 yr old mini pinscher. We have had some discipline problems with him in the past but not until recently we have acquired a 2 year old maltese (November 2007) and a yorkie-pug mix 8 weeks old in January 2008.
The mini pinscher has gotten really aggressive and is biting and jumping on people as they come in and snaps at them. We have tried everything, we don't want to have to get rid of him, but we need help.
