Peekapoo owners

Are there any peekapoo owners out there? I am surprised at the lack of comments on this sweet breed of dog. I am looking for other owners to share comments and stories with.

Befuddled owner of sweet Peekapoo

I have 2 other small dogs that I also love very much. I love this little girl, Leila, the Peekapoo, but on occasion, when she doesn't want to mess with her like wash her eyes, etc. she will get a bit agressive. I restrain her and she gets over it and I resume what I was doing with her so as she doesn't have the upper hand. 99% of the time she is sweet and a great dog. any advice on how to handle or do I start to worry?

Obedience training a Peekapoo

I am on my 5th Peekapoo and never had to handle this problem. Raised, trained and showed St. Bernards (and of course obedience training was mandatory). I just can't see putting a chain training collar on this little girl (almost 6mo old), but she is a handful. Different in temperment from any other Peeka poo I have owned. Anyone have any ideas? She won't come when she is called (except of course if you yell COOKIE), but don't want to do that all the time. Help

Peekapoo's and puppy shots

Given my earlier post, little Cassie that just came to live with us is 11 weeks old, had her first set of shots, and I now remember the dreaded Parvo vaccine and my previous 'little ones' that reacted so badly to their 'second shots' at 12 weeks. Has anyone else had this happen with their Peekapoo's? First shots don't seem to bother them, but the second go round they have all gotten sick. Appreciate any insight.

Peke a poo or deceived at pet store?

I recently bought an 11 week old Peke a poo at a pet store. The cage said "Peke a poo". Oh what a cute darling! To make a long story short, I've been looking at Peke a poo images on the web. Mine has all the basic characteristics but he has more of a "wire" looking coat than poodle thick coat. Can anybody help me to discern?? Angie

See peek-a-poo gentle play with baby

We have a 2.5yo peek-a-poo (Lizzie) and a 10mth baby (Harry). At first we were worried about them hurting each other but it's been quite the opposite. When baby was about 4mth he grabbed her a couple of times but never since. It's all about the TOYS!!!! Anyway, see for yourself. I'd recommend this breed for anyone who wants a playful loving little dog that might grow up with a baby. http://www.youtube.com/wa... (continued)

My Peekapoo Penny

Penny was the best dog I have ever had the pleasure of owning. She was 15 when she passed the day before Easter. She stayed with me thru thick and thin and was aslo the smartest. Seems I could just talk to her and she knew what I meant. She was more person than dog I've always thought. When I am ready to love a dog again, I will definitely search for another peekapoo.
