The Lion Clip - For those wondering "Why the Haircut?"
Anyone unfamiliar with the breed might have been a bit confused... Where is the dog's face? What is that ridiculous haircut? Those pictures are of the "Lion Clip," normally used for showdogs, though not always
I know this is a portuguese forum, but I'm guessing lot's of other people are curious. A few friends laughed at the haircut; two of them who know Belle very well, did not recognize that the dog pictured embedded in many Google news links was the same dog.

Well, I have a one year old black and white pwd male. He is a pistol. I can see him running the White House. And guess what, his name is "Kona" named after the ironman world championship venue i competed in in Hawaii (triathlon). But problem is, this breed does not need as much stimulus as Obama appears addicted to give. Maybe he could teach Barack some tricks. Arni
