PANCREATITIS IN DOGS

MY BEAUTIFUL 10 LB. 3 YEAR OLD SHIHTZU (PIPPI)HAD PANCREATITIS A FEW WEEKS AGO. SHE SPENT NEARLY 3 DAYS IN THE HOSPITAL. I WAS BESIDE MYSELF. THE VET DIDN'T KNOW HOW SHE GOT IT. PANCREATITIS CAN BE DEADLY. FROM ALL MY RESEARCH, THERE WAS ONE COMMON THREAD: IT USUALLY HAPPENS IN MIDDLE AGE AND FROM A HIGH FAT DIET WHICH BASICALLY MEANS TABLE SCRAPS. PIPPI HAS NEVER HAD TABLE SCRAPS. I ALSO FEED HER"HEALTH WISE" ... (continued)

My puppy accidentally ate chicken bones...

I have an 11 week old Siberian Husky and she just got into a plate of chicken buffalo wings. She ate four of them including the bone. I know they're not supposed to eat bones so is she going to be ok? Should I be worried. She's acting normal, in fact, she was more upset when she was disciplined than anything else. Please advise; if I need to take her to the vet I will definitely do so! Thanks so much in advance!

Anti poop-eating products

Yes, my pup is a poop-eater, and natural behavior or not, I'm just not as enthusiastic about those puppy kisses as I used to be. Anyone tried those products you put in their food that's supposed to make their poop taste gross? Did it really break them of the habit? Any brand recommendations?

BIG Dog Coats & Apparel

As a big dog owner, I know how hard it has been to find winter coats and rainwear for my big dogs. It's so sad how small dogs get most the love when it comes to apparel. The truth is, big dogs get cold too especially in certain parts of the country. I am so excited i finally found a big dog clothing company that actually caters to big dogs. Their apparel is all made in the USA and quality is awesome. Just a suggest... (continued)

Collar Advice Needed:

I keep my dog in a flat nylon neck collar, which works very well for us. What I want to know is, what are the differences between collars with a (belt-type) buckle and a (helmet- type) snap? Does one work better than the other?
