help please!
i have a 5 year old male staffordshire bull terrier. he has not been neutered and up until recently we have never had a problem with other dogs. bitches he is fine with, but on two occasions he has shown dominance towards another dog with has led to him becoming aggressive towards them. we are responsible, we keep him on a lead and if need be let a fellow dog owner know he is not very good with them. however if ano... My dog is an Australian Shepard and Blue Heeler he is approx. 8 years old he is not neutered we had no problems until we moved to the country and there is all sorts of dogs running loose. Why on earth are some of you people not taking your dogs back the the vet? If your dog is looking sick, acting weird or vomiting his food back up get offline and get to the vet. Or at least CALL your vet. I can't believe the number of people putting their animals at risk by not doing anything. It's not rocket science.

What they didn't say is that neutered dogs are at higher risk for prostate and bone cancer as well as hip displasia and joint problems and early neuter dogs are at even higher risk as well as bladder incontinence. Do some research, there are a lot of studies out there.

My 6 yr. old male (not nuetered) poodle behaves as if my 5 yr. old Jack Russell (Nuetered) is a female in heat. He constantly is trying to lick the jack's anus and breed with him. He cries and paces around him. My Jack gets annoyed and growels or snaps sometimes, but otherwise the Jack is acting normal. What is wrong with the poodle and/or the Jack Russel? It is driving us crazy.

I also heard about the implants that prevent your pet from getting pregnant. The most i know about it is that these implants are about 25 dollars and they last for like 5 years. Only the aspca will use the implants because veterinarians make more money to perminately spay or nueter the animals.
