vizslas popularity
I wonder why Vizslas aren't more popular, I don't own one yet but everything I've read about them makes them sound like the perfect pet. When I mention this breed most people never heard of them.

Minnie'sMom
We have a 3 year female. Smartest, best dog we have ever had. She has always been a natural with the birds in the field. Suddenly, she is afraid of the gun. We don't know why, nothing happened. We don't know how to get her past this.
We would like to breed her this year for the first time. We are having trouble finding a breeder that doesn't want the wall of ribbons and trophies.

eating paper
I have a 7mo. Vizsla and she loves to eat paper espically tissues or paper towels. I try to keep them away from her but she'll even dig in pockets and find them. She gets agressive when I try to get them out of her mouth. Will she grow out of this? What can I do?

I'm planning to get a puppy
Hi, Is a Vizsla a good choice for a newly retired couple? We have a large fenced in yard, enjoy playing with dogs and want a good companion.

cold weather
I just have a few questions about the vizsla, I wanted some personal insight and I know you would be full of great information. The time has come for us to get a dog and we have narrowed it down to the last few breeds. Our decision is pending on a few things. We are not concerned about meeting the dogs physical requirements at all as we are very active people and avid hunters this is not a concern.
