We live at the Lake of the Ozarks, on the water. Near a marina. She loves the water. I have always been an animal lover. When I was about 5 or 6 years od age I would gather all the dogs up in the neighborhood and put them in my fenced in yard. That was 42 years ago. I never remeber a fight among them. When it ws time to come in for dinner I had to return the neighbors dogs. My favorite animal is the horse. I have had as many as 11. All cared for like a baby. Let's just say, i spend as much on my barn in one year then I did on my own house. I lived in the barn, outside of work and college. i brought my onlu son up in the barn also. I am a baby nurse, so everything in our home always had to reproduce. We had as many as 140 animals at one time. That's counting about 50 chickens,turkeys, a wolf we brought back from Alaska from a petting zoo. 8 dogs or so, 20 some cats, snakes, fish, Iguanas, I got down to keeping just about 4 to 5 horses for a long period of time. I always kept an extra one for friends to ride. We each had our own horse we always rode. My sons spotted gelding would bring you his food bowl when i pulled up from work. He woud also get down on his front knees to let him on when he was younger by pulling gently down on his reins. My dog now goes with me everywhere I go. She loves to ride. I just recently got her a friend to play with. A border collie. They play well together, but I forgot wheat a puppy could do. Chanelle was approx. 2 years of age and was all ready potty trained. His name is Gunner. A 7 month old Border collie. I love flowers and the outdoors too.
