I am learning how to be a better handler for both of the best Search and Rescue dogs ever!

I have a Feist-Dachshund Mix- MUTT that followed me home one day, and now she works as a companion dog to my 7yr old who wanted a cat, and a cadaver dog for a local sheriff department k-9 search and rescue team.

My live-find dog (GSD) I picked for his boldness of character and his enormous curiosity evident at the tender age of 7 wks. He was a winner from the start!

  • ignoring running bunnies, but chasing cats
  • for his boldness

  • Aspen is an almost 2yr old, fixed, male GSD that looks like a cross between a kangaroo and a dingo.

    He is a live-find dog in-training on a local Sheriff Department k-9 SAR team and has never failed to find his missing person yet. He will always be much better at his job than his handler..natural ability and all, of course.
