WHAT IS IT THAT I DO?

Whether its learning a new behavior, basic commands, or bike/walking your dog I'm here for your dog and you.
I also offer private in home consultation and training if you are in a 5 mile radius of my home base near Meridian and Broadway.

Who is K9 Nanny 911?

K9 Nanny 911 was originally formed back in mid 2003. The company name came from a young boy that I was helping with a very large golden lab named King. At 5 months old he weighed in close to 100lbs. And with no need of a diet.

After our second session the mother and son were both kneeling next to King and praising him for the good job he had done that day. Her son of 5 or 6 looked up at me and said, "Nanny 911, King is a good boy." To which I replied, "Yes he is." And then thanked him for my new name. You just can't ignore a compliment like that.

From that point on I have been known to many a dog lover as the Canine Nanny.

Originally I did private in home teaching only. This called for a lot of traveling, and in turn a lot of gas mileage. As the gas prices soared I had to make a choice. Raise my prices, become a Canine Consultant only or combine the two.

I chose to combine the two together.

It has been a few years now since I had that decision. Thanks to technology being what it is I am putting together an all new revised and upgraded K9 Nanny 911.

My mission is to make available every means of media to anyone in need of a solution. Canine care takers come from all financial backgrounds. From the homeless to the wealthy and everywhere in between. I believe that sharing knowledge saves lives.

What I like about my dog

They are my friends in every since of the word. They are part of my family.

What my dog likes best about me

I think you might have to ask them.

People I've met through my dog

so many I can't keep track. You get enough looks from everyone when you have a giant breed next to you. But when you are walking a giant, a large and a medium, lol.

If I didn't have a dog, I'd like a...

  • He was a rescue from the friends of american rottwieler assoc. after Katrina We picked him up in texas and brought him back to az
  • Tatonka is a very special dog to us. After going through the Katrina disaster he was picked up by a horder where he and close to 100 others were put into kennels all day and night. When the animals were confiscated Rescues stepped in and the rest has been a wonderful transformation.

Nakona

Nakona

  • Rottweiler and not sure
  • ( dog years)
  • kona and kona bean
  • Playing ball by herself
  • My sweet little Nakona was found by me on craigslist when I was actively fostering and rescueing. The lady would not call me back when I told her that I would be more than happy to take the pup off her hands. This way we could make sure that she got her shots and was fixed and found a great home.

After 2 days I had a friend call and asked her to tell the woman that she would like to see her. I also asked her not to mention being with the rescue. Bingo we had a date.

When we got there I stayed outside and let her go in where she found Nakona chained up outside in a dirt backyard with no cover(in az)no water and a adult pitbull on each side of her.

When I got her home my Great dane Mona and her bonded overnight. I didn't have the heart to separate them.

Mona

Mona

  • Great Dane

  • Mona Mi and Moni
