My name is Lindsey. I live in Texas. I love my animals. They bring so much joy to my life. I joined this website with the hopes that the people on this site can enjoy them as much as I do.

Puss

Puss

  • Cat (Calico)
  • 4 years (31 dog years)
  • Tiny
  • She plays fetch
  • Every morning at 7:00 a.m. (weekend included) she comes and jumps on my pillows and licks my face and purrs until I feed her
  • I realize that she is a cat, but she really honestly believes that she is a dog. She chews small dog bones, plays fetch, plays in the water, is very talkitive, and runs to the door when the doorbell rings. She is so intuitive to me and can tell when I am upset and comes to cuddle. She and Bella are total partners in crime. They work together to get into things that they are not supposed to. And if the cat is chewing on her bone and the dog tries to take it, she will show her teeth and growl at Bella. It really is the funniest thing. She has never once scratched me. Even when I bathe her and she desperately wants out of the bath tub, she will claw at the sides of the bath tub. But when I'm holding her and grabs onto me with her paws her claws aren't out. She is so gentle with Bella (who is often hyper-active and plays very rough). They are the dynamic duo and it seemed impossible to include one and not the other.

Isabella

Isabella

  • Italian Greyhound
  • 3 years (27 dog years)
  • Isa (said like EE-SAA) and Bella
  • "Sit", "Stay", "Lay Down", and we're working on "shake"
  • jumping really high
  • She was the most beautiful animal I had ever seen
  • I had never really had a significant relationship with a dog. I had a Doberman Pincher as a child and I loved him but I never took care of him, my parents did. I think now, having my own house and my own animals has made me appreciate them so much. When we first moved out we rescued a sweet little calico kitty (Puss). My fiance and I talked about getting another cat. But decided that we would never be able to find a cooler cat than we already have. So we started looking for a puppy. We were looking at boston terriers but we didn't find one we really liked. One day I went to the pet store to get something for the cat. And EVERYONE knows you can't go to the pet store with out looking at all the animals. I passed by the dogs of adoption and she sat up in her kennel and I was awestruck by how beautiful she was. When I left I couldn't stop thinking about her so I brought my fiance up there to check her out. And now here we are today. Shes a wonderful dog, with the most expressive, sweet eyes you'll ever see. I am totally smitten with my puppy and don't know how I ever made it without her.
