I adopted another Standard Poodle - Teddy - couple of weeks ago!!! Lulu is in 7th heaven, and Teddy seems to be happy in his new home.
I will add some pictures of Teddy soon.

I've been crazy about dogs, especially the larger breeds - the "Gentle Giants" - ever since I can remember. My mom told me that "doggy" was my first word :-)
Since I was a kid I’ve had couple of delightful rescued mutts, a feisty Collie, a gentle Golden Retriever and now a smart Standard Poodle.
I lost my beloved Golden Retriever, Kalli, unexpectedly after 10 very happy years in June 2008 – she never woke up from a minor routine surgery… I was absolutely devastated and heartbroken, for she was my best friend and family. I learned a very painful and hard lesson, and now I know to think twice and get a 2nd opinion before agreeing to a surgical procedure that requires general anesthesia for an older dog.
Because of Kalli I became interested in holistic approach to health and the importance of nutrition, exercise and positive training methods several years ago. I read everything I could get my hands on and learned a lot about dogs and myself thanks to this gentle, sweet and loving Golden. I will never forget her.
As of January 2, 2009, I have a new fur-child – a Standard Poodle puppy, called Lulu. Lulu came to my life at the age of 4 months. She was sweet and affectionate but painfully timid, as she had had no exposure to the outside world. She was afraid of anything and everything… With the help of the Well-Heeled Dog Puppy Kindergarten and tips from some excellent training books she is now an active, curious and playful big puppy and has overcome all her fears. After Puppy Kindergarten we graduated from the Basic Obedience Class and most recently from the Canine Good Citizen Class. Lulu is such a tender, well-behaved and intelligent pet that with the right training she may have the makings of a Therapy Dog. We’ll see – one step at a time!
