I live on a houseboat at Kentucky Lake. I'm single again after 20+ years. My kids are
busy shining in life in their own careers & college. I was lonley. Spring and summer 2008 I was looking for a dog on Petfinder.com. I had to leave Bootsie, Border Collie/mix with Son because boat living was getting hard on her. She had 2 knee replacements and her age (14) & arthitis. Dottie did not want any part of living on the water so my Folks took her in. Most my searches were for Border Collie or Labs. Then I started thinking smaller breeds; Beagles, yorkie, Cocker Spaniel. There was Berdie, looking like a Teddy. I thought he needed me most. Perhaps I needed him the most. All my life I have taken in strays and Humane Society Animals. I've tamed all kinds of wild/ dysfunctional cats & Dog's. Teddy is training me well too!

Adopted 9/6/2008 He's a Puppy Mill Rescued Breeder. Everything outside the cage has been new to him. I am amazed at how fast he has learned new things and has progressed at becoming a dog.
