- She doesn't like to go outside, and avoids it at all costs. I have to chase her to put her outside.
- I already had Bailey. I got an e-mail from the Jack Russell Rescue in Michigan regarding this little female. I put off looking at the pictures. As soon as I saw her, I knew she had to come live with me!

Sophie was rescued in 2007. She had been mistreated by her breeders. Her first "owner" ran a dog salon and kept Sophie locked up for at least 8 hours a day and couldn't handle her extreme energy and barking (she is a barking machine) and turned her over to a shelter. The rescue group got her into a foster home, where she was given attention for the first time in her life.
She's still a work in progress, but Sophie is the most loveable dog I've ever come across!

- Knowing the strength of the person he's playing with. He doesn't tug as hard when he's playing with a child, but tries to yank my arm off!
- My mom actually chose him. I tried to talk her out of it. He chose me. I now have 2 JRTs!
