I have 2 Great Pyrenese, a lab mix and a Corgi Mix. I had 3 Pyr's but Katie crossed to the Rainbow Bridge this week. She was 13 years old, blind and could barely walk anymore. But she gave us so much love, she was a classy girl, and the epitomy of the Gentle Giant.
I also have 6 horses, 1 is a rescue, 2 cats and a feral cat that demands to be fed!
I am retired and a caregiver to a relative.
All m6y digs are rescued digs and give me utter devotion and love.

Spencer was my foster dog who got adopted. He was as gentle as a lamb and very loving. They returned him three months later. I don't know what terrible things they did to him but he came back wanting to eat the ankles of anyone who came through a door into the house. I have had to monitor him closely, locking him in another room when folks come to the house, although he has exhibited no issues with my uncle, sister, niece and her two children, my cousin and out petsitter. With us he is gentle and loving. When someone new comes to the house, I give them a handful of "cookies" then bring Spencer out on a leash; usually by the third cookie, Spencer has accepted the new person as a friend. But he can sense fear and reacts to it. I love this dog more than I can describe.
