I am a vetrinary tech student at the University of Kentucky. I have two pups; Sam a german sheperd, and wrinkles my shar-pei. I also own a fluffy orange tabby kitten who was also a rescue. MY animals are part of my family and since Homosexuals can't adopt easily they're my children. I love the outdoors, hiking, camping, fishing etc. My dogs seem to enjoy it too although they're just now learning what it means to rough it ha ha.

Sam is one of the few pups that has been bought from a breeder in a good situation. She was well taken care of, had been wormed, had her shots, and was fed the best puppy chow of which the breeder also gave me a bag when I got her. When she got sick they also offered to replace her or give her back but I told them I would take her to the vet just wanted to make sure the other pups were well. She just had gotten some bad food. She was the runt of 13 and is finally growing. She sleeps a lot of the day but when she's up she's chasing the kitten or running off with socks and hiding them so come wash day i have to go on a scavenger hunt. She's a great puppy and learning to use the potty outside now.

Wrinkles was my miracle puppy. I got a call about him during the ice storm this past winter where a horrible breeder had let the mother dog have her puppies outside. The puppies froze except for two of which one was wrinkles. He was in poor condition, had a nasty case of mange, had no shots, sores all over his body, half a pad was missing. I had to trek through the storm, getting stuck twice, straight to the vet where he stayed a week in their care and then was returned to me. I put him on a high protein diet and now my 3lb pup is close to near 30lbs and healthy and happy. I love my boy.
