Anyone who knows me knows I'm passionate about animals especially my pets. Some may even say that my love for animals borders on an obsession. I don't have children so my pets are my life. I have 2 dogs and 6 cats. All were strays at one time. I believe very strongly in spaying & nuetering. I am a photographer so aside from animals my other passion is taking pictures.
My motto: "Pets may not be my whole life, but they make my life whole."

On July 22, 2010 my heart was broken when I had to put my beloved Wrinkles to sleep. I am still heart-broken over the loss. However, I didn't want for my little Ebony to be all alone so when my sister offered to give me 'custody' of her dog Ceeley, I agreed. My sister belongs to a rescue group called Diamond Dachsund Rescue. She knew that Ebony & Ceeley got along very well & she knew that Ceeley really enjoyed being at my house so she offered to let me have her. It was a perfect arrangement. She now is able to fostered another dog, Ceeley can visit whenever she likes, & Ebony has another dog-sister & won't be so lonely.
Wrinkles was found wandering on a ranch. She was skinny, her paws were bleeding, she had a hard time seeing (had entropion), and was overall in bad shape. I fell in love with her gentle nature. She's sweet, quiet, and very docile. Even though she's much bigger than Ebony, she doesn't mind taking a follower position. She calmly accepts the fact that Ebony is the alpha-dog. I've never known a gentler soul. She gets along with other dogs, cats and people. In Wrinkles' world the word "stranger" doesn't exist. She's had many health issues and has been to vet more times than I can count. Age is catching up with her and now-a-days she sleeps alot. I've had her for 10 years and although I realize I may not have her much longer, I treasure every moment I do have with her. I tell her she's my heart.
Ebony was found wandering along the side of a country road. Anytime you'd lean down to pet her she'd lay on her back and pee on herself. Makes me wonder if she'd been abused. But...that was then..now she's a happy, confident, very sure of herself little dog. She made herself the alpha-dog of the house and takes her position very seriously! She's an excellent little watchdog. When the cats misbehave she'll quickly put them in their place. But if she thinks the cats or Wrinkles are in trouble, she's quick to protect them. I think she thinks she's much bigger than she is. Ebony is high-spirited, friendly, funny, and always makes me laugh. She's my little clown.
I had to include my little feline babies because they are also part of my family and I can't leave them out. All my kittys are spayed and nuetered. Sunshine, Raven, Tux, and Sweet-Pea are all brother & sisters.Tux and Furby are my 2 boys. Furby is my eldest and Diamond is the dogs favorite cat.
