Cookie

Cookie

  • Shih Tzu and Lhasa Apso
  • 9 years (68 dog years)
  • CoCo Puff, Cookie Butt, Cookie Puff, Puff Ball, Poop Head, Fluff ball, Pebble Butt, Coco Pebbles, Baby Puff, Lovebug
  • Sit and stay
  • Barking at the treat jar, butt wipes!
  • Cookie was found next to a dumpster by a restaurant, what a shame to those who dumped him cause he's been such a blessing.
  • Cookie loves to greet you when you come home. He LOVES belly rubs, but when you start rubbing his belly it is nearly impossible to stop. He not only remind you to keep rubbing his belly he will kick you if you stop. Cookie loves to look out the window and pretend to be on the top of the world. He is a cuddle bug, and enjoys giving kisses sometimes a little to much. We love Cookie very much!

Forest

Forest

  • American Pit Bull Terrier and Labrador Retriever
  • 4 years (32 dog years)
  • Babester, Wisfor, Lovebug, Baby, Boobie
  • Many!
  • He licks his face when you scratch his chest, and when you stop he'll stop. Weird!
  • Puppy mill rescue, can't look away from his adorable puppy eyes.
  • I rescued Forest from a pet store where the irresponsible owner was abusing the pups. I saw that he was in very bad condition crowded in a kennel along with five other puppies with no water or food sitting in their own waste. When I first saw Forest it was during the summer where the heat reached over 100 degrees in the kennels. When I went to see him he was exhausted and sick, he looked at me with his eyes barely opened and I couldn't bare to leave him so I took him home that day and began nursing him back to health. The animal cops were notified about the conditions and the store was closed down shortly after. All the 40+ puppies/animals were rescued, sadly two pups were put down due to sickness from bad breeding (puppy mill) and the inconsiderate shop owner. Forest is now now a happy healthy dog and he's going to be forever. (O=

Bertha

Bertha

  • American Pit Bull Terrier and American Staffordshire Terrier
  • 3 years (21 dog years)
  • Bertha love!
  • Catch, Paws, Down, Sit, and more!
  • Wiggles!
  • Bertha is a foster, she is now in her forever home with a friend but I still consider her part of my family.
  • Bertha has seperation anxiety, she will go crazy when left alone. I am working with her on that as she grows. She is VERY friendly, she loves everyone and anything. She loves to eat, watch out because you may be holding a sandwich one minute but it'll be gone the next! She loves to stick to you like glue---no...super glue! She is very bossy when it comes to her brother Forest, he has to let things go her way. She loves playing with other dogs at the beach, getting dirty. She has a way of just grasping your heart where she makes it nearly impossible to get mad at her----even if she chewed a hole in the wall (three walls to be exact), ripped the carpet, and dug a hole under the fence. I love her though even with those flaws, though she's a handful shes definitely the biggest lovebug!
