I live in Palmerton Pa. with my daughter and significant other (boyfriend of 23 years).My four dogs Thor( Belian Malinois) Reba( Golden Retriever mix) Elvira (Siberian Husky) also Thor's significant other . And Modie( Belgian Husky) Thor and Elvira's seven month old pup. He was one of a litter of six. We decided to keep the one that resembled his father the most. All the puppies looked like Thor . Currently I 'm enrolled at ABC Animal Behavioral College. I am studying to be dog obedience instructor and behavioralist. I want to help keep unwanted and "PROBLEM" dogs from being thrown away. If given the time and love these dogs will come around, I know first hand. Thor wouldn't let anyone in when he came to live with us 4 years ago. He was terrified of everyone and everything. He has improved, but he still attemps to nip unexpecting visitors. We are working on this, but good things take time.
Thor is a typical Mali- smart and eager to learn.
He knows his cues and executess them well( of coarse when there isn't anyone around, if there is someone her he don't trust , he just focuses on that person(just in case he needs to go in protection mode).Also working on these issues . Will post his and Modie's training progress.
