Little Star

  • black lab, australian shepherd and a little cayote they think
  • ( dog years)
  • Twinkers and Wiggle Butt
  • giving her paw
  • She spins in a circle until she winds herself into the ground
  • On adoption day she was the least likely to be adopted. The underdog to be sure.
  • Little Star is a special needs dog. She was found abanded at about 4 weeks old. I adopted her at about 3 months old. The cage she was in had a sign that said "don't stick your fingers in the cage, she nips". For 2 months she was out for adoption and in that cage during week end adoptions. I spent time with her that day and decided we could learn to trust each other. We have. She is a fear biter by the vets definition and we have lived our lives together knowing this. Over the years I have obedience trained us both and kept her social experiences controled and she is fine with my visiting friends and family members. At ten years old, she has mellowed some. She is still high energy but in spurts and these days she likes to be on her queen size bed in her room about 9 p.m. .......... Unless it's a full moon.......
