Her face looks like cracked porcelain so we call her China Doll. She was pulled from the Brooklyn ACC by Destiny's Pet Project just before her "time was up" and is currently being fostered with two other dogs and regularly visited by two kids (8 and 10). Despite having multiple scars on her head and front legs, and being found as a stray, China is the SWEETEST, GOOFIEST love bug. She may have old wounds on the outside but on the inside she is forgiving, eager to learn, playful and happy happy happy. She loves to give kisses and snuggle as close to you as possible. If you like giving belly and rump-rubs you are going to have a best friend in China. Her tail is constantly wagging to show how grateful she is for being given a second chance at the life she really deserves.
She is probably between 14-20 months old and weighs about 50 lbs (she considers this small enough to be a lap dog). She has learned a few basic commands at her foster home and is excellent on a leash. She takes treats gently and does not show food aggression but she was very very skinny when she was taken in and would need to be fed at least 2x a day until she puts enough weight on. She is definitely energetic and loves having toys to chew or throw around.
China would be the PERFECT dog to someone(s) who are very active and have time to devote to both **training** and **cuddling** her.

Suggestions: China not go to a home with young children as she still has lots of puppy energy and doesn't realize her own strength.
-Be the only female dog in the household/ not go to a home with very dominant or aggressive dogs
-Be socialized regularly and given enforced obedience training.
