Jerry is the owner of Canine Behavior Clinic. Since its inception in 1985, Jerry has been involved in solving complex behavior problems in dogs. After more than 30 years of studying canine behavior and more than 12 years of research concerning puppy development, Jerry published his first book, The Breeder's Guide to Raising Superstar Dogs, which was released in April 2008. He has trained and evaluated thousands of puppies of all ages. In addition to his experience as a professional dog trainer, Jerry has a formal education in the area of psychology and an in-depth understanding of learning theory.
Jerry is a certified dog behavior consultant with the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC), a professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), and a professional member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP). He has served on the Board of Directors of The American Temperament Testing Society, Inc. (ATTS) and is a Teaching Chief Tester with ATTS. Jerry is also a certified PetTech Instructor, certified to teach pet first aid.
