Anti-Icky-Poo

Our take: It seemed to work fairly well and the carpeting smelled okay to me afterwards although it didn't quite get up the entire stain. Using a black light, I saw that some urine hadn't been removed. Although I love the name, the nontoxic Anti-Icky-Poo didn't work all that well for me. It's non-enzymatic and uses live bacteria to eliminate decaying organic material in fabrics. It is not designed for use in laundry. It is wonderfully simple to use, you just spray it on. They offer a "carpet injector," which is essentially a big syringe, in which you inject the stuff into the padding.

I agree the review is rather misleading. Anti icky Poo works great and comes with a manufacturers guarantee "gets the stink out or your money back". Because it is a live bacteria/enzyme then it will show up just the same as urine under a blacklight, hence the confusion about all the urine being removed or not. It's not actually sold as a stain remover although it does have stain removing properties providing they're not years old. It's main function is an odor remover. I'm confused. Your first sentence says "It seemed to work fairly well" and then 2 sentences later you say "the nontoxic Anti-Icky-Poo didn't work all that well for me." Next sentence you say "It's non-enzymatic" yet the bottles in your picture clearly state "Live Bacteria/Enzyme Solution" What am I supposed to gather from this "review". People like myself come to sites like these to try to find out the truth about a product but reviews like these just leave us more confused and questioning the validity of anything stated on this site. I guess I will continue my search for the truth elsewhere.
