Beacon safety light for dogs
Friday June 20th, 2008
Our take: My personal choice, the Beacon is a lightweight, watertight piece that attaches easily and blinks red light--quite visibly in two speeds--or stays continuous. It uses four LEDs, and two included CR2032 3-volt watch batteries, which are included. Its unusual design allows light to be seen from four directions.
The dogs weigh in: She didn't notice it while walking, and it fastens quickly enough that it didn't slow down our walk preparation.
Cost: low
