Busy Buddy Tug-A-Jug
Friday June 20th, 2008
Our take: The plastic jug has a knotted tug rope inside that extends out the top, and you drop treats in it after unscrewing the top. When the dog chews or tugs the rope, treats noisily fall out. This toy is designed to appeal to all five senses of touch, sight, smell, sound, and taste. The cool part is that it can be used as a training aid or a way to add excitement to meals.
The dogs weigh in: Ginger refused to eat anything out of it, even if I lovingly dispensed them and tried to hand feed them to her, but the Basenjis adored it and flung it around with treats spewing out in a free-for-all. Some dogs just know how to have fun.
