  • Make a sandbox or stake out a patch of ground in your yard that's just for your dog. With your pooch watching in a sit-stay, bury his toys or a few treats. Then let him loose to dig out the treasure. Up the ante by burying the goodies when he's not there.

not if you made a sandbox that it can dig in. and train it to only dig in the sandbox
