Heated dog beds
Lean breeds such as greyhounds and whippets, toy breeds, and arthritic or old dogs enjoy warmth. They don't just enjoy it, in winter they become veritable heat-seeking doggie missiles. Heated dog beds can be just the ticket for a warm ride. It's best to stay away from heated beds for which you cannot adjust the temperature because you don't want your dog using something that gets over his body temperature, which is generally around 100 to 102°F.
And let's just say you have a sore spot....there's no reason you and your dog can't snuggle together on these large, thick heating pads, although you probably don't want the general public to get a gander of that through the front window.
