Night Safety Lights for Dogs

Just like a firefly, sometimes you need to light yourself up to be seen. Take a tip from bicycle riders and attach a red light to your dog (for that matter, you can use one meant for cyclists). When walking your dog at dusk or dark, it's particularly important that drivers see your dog. Attaching a flashing red light to a collar or harness makes your dog visible and increases your safety.

For higher visibility, attach one to your upper body as well as to your dog's collar. A flashlight is fine but you have to use one hand to carry it, and it's hard to hold a flashlight and leash while you're bagging poop.
