Andis Ruby
Our take: It's not really fair to compare the Andis to other clippers, because as a trimmer, it's clearly mean for a lighter-weight job: trimming the hair on delicate spots by the ears and anus. But I was barely able to cut much hair at all with it.
It does have that nifty NiMH batter that gets fully charged every time, and a semi-stylish, horseshoe-shaped charging stand--but that won't help you make your dog look good.
Cost: low
