Andis Super AGR+ Cordless Rechargeable

Our take: Designed for professionals and all-day use, this rocket has a battery pack that runs continuously for one hour, and the charging system recharges the battery in an hour or less. That means you can flip back and forth between batteries all day and never run out of power. You can even run it on a cord if you want.

It's kind of noisy, which is not surprising. The only down side is the weight--this big boy weighs in at about a pound and a quarter, so your hand can get tired fairly fast. The hard case is terrific.

Cost: high

I love this clipper! I have used it exclusively for many months and it still works like new. You must drain and re-charge battery monthly according to instructions to erase battery memory and continue to get a full charge each day. Heavy, but easy to handle.
